"I remember a great hall... a meeting place. Seven Pharoahs were assembled. But I don't know why they were there. That is all I can remember from that time."

Laci Fibonacci was last reincarnated as the daughter of veal farmers in Argos, Indiana in September, 1990 A.D. So fair was Laci's form to behold, that her parents vowed to never again harm a lamb. They abandoned veal for turnip farming in the bonnie land of Scotland.

It was there, at Inverness, that Laci formed her attachment with song and ceremonial dance. At a very young mortal age, Laci mesmerized villagers with her preternatural singing qualities. Unfortunately, the eerie ancient look in her child's eyes earned her a reputation among the locals as "the Heather Witch." A deportation notice was served by the Highland Unitary Authority, and Laci found herself in Chicago's Union Station with no more than a simple tartan handbag and 25 pounds sterling. She was only 9 years old.

These experiences, compounded with a treasury of adventures accumulated over several lifetimes, have cultivated a strong self-reliance in Laci. She has easily fallen in with Chicago's bohemian underground, and has established herself in the avante-garde music scene, which has always been receptive to foundling-savants and reincarnated types.

As a member of Strawberry, Laci has proved to be a potent asset and perhaps the band's most popular secret weapon. Discriminating music aficionados become hapless thralls in the gaze of this eternal child-woman.

Laci enjoys writing and composing music on her home computer.
